Managing Director Statement
Since establishing the business in 1986, we have all worked hard to provide an excellent public lighting service for our customers – large or small. Subsequently over the last 20 years the name T. T. Jones Electrical has become synonymous with quality and reliability.
Having been in the public lighting industry for over 30 years, I fully understand and appreciate the challenges that are present in the market. Spending much of my career working for Norwich City Council, first as an electrician on the housing dept and then moving to the street lighting dept in 1974, I was duly appointed as its Superintendent of Street Lighting in 1978 – a role that gave me joint operational responsibility for street lighting across Norfolk.
When the contract for the county’s public lighting was put out to competitive tender in 1986, I made the bold decision to use the knowledge and expertise I had gained to establish a business of my own. Subsequently T. T. Jones was born and we have never looked back.
With my two sons now also playing leading parts in our ongoing expansion as a company, I am confident that T. T. Jones Electrical is ideally placed to continue satisfying the needs and requirements of customers across Norfolk.
As we pass our our 20th anniversary as a business, our aim remains the same as it has always been – to offer the most reliable and highest quality public lighting service possible.
